Yo bros, for our Elantra, are the high beam and low beam share the same bulb? or separate?
I want HID high beam but norm low beam. Any such bulb?

Refer to manual; Page 8-2
Headlights (low beam) = H7
Headlights (high beam) = H1
Foglight = H27W

Re: High Beam
u see ar.
my opinion.
H7 change to white lo for normal daily driving.
wanto travel northsouth highway you need yellow then maintain yr h1(high beam lo).
Change the one you use everyday de lo. H7 will be enough.

http://hi-motors.com/bbs/view.php?id=Hyundai&page=5&sn1=&divpage=1&category=18&sn=off&ss=on&sc=on&select_arrange=headnum&desc=asc&no=706
giving the side of our headlights some light will make it look more complete too!

Re: High Beam
aftermarket one quite hard to find as this car is still quite new in singapore. guess it will still take some time before more shops sell aftermarket parts for elantra, just like the forte.

wah this is chio...Anywhere in SG have this yet? wonder if this will void warranty.. since it technically it does not temper with original headlights ... same applies to LED lights for the back right?

Re: High Beam
Based on our warranty booklet. The warranty will not cover damages caused by the alteration. I am not lawyer, so for your own interpretation.

Hmm, isnt it plug and play, like the ones for the rear? Technically we arent meddling with the original wirings, just adding new stuff/drill hole. Just like say adding a bodykit, no?

Re: High Beam
Imagine, you took out the cover and do led or projector lighting.
then water go in. Komoco will confirm void it.
bcos the car does not come with and you amend with it outside.
of cos they won't gurantee you lo.
unless u buy another set of head light and do whatever you want lo.
rear one is unless you buy aftermarket whole pc de.
but inspection confirm fail.

Re: High Beam
thats why people must have the mental preparation to change back to stock before inspection. as for warranty wise, I'm sure many drivers who do many mods don't care about the warranty. for me I do, thats why still got so many things holding me back, like changing HID. scared kenna caught also.. =\
