Front bumper has yellowed?

Bros, my elantra's bumper has yellowed. the color is obvoiusly different from the rest of the body. It's quite shocking i thought its a new car? The paint shouldn't oxidize so fast. Is there any way to restore the paint?

I know its probably got to do with me driving too close to the rear of other cars.

is normal. I just had my front bumper respray. long story.

My point is. because our front and back bumper are made of plastic. The spray casted on it tend to turn yellow faster. just compare your bumper and your car body. u can see at once glance 2 tone already.

Collected my ride yday. Upon checking at kmc didn't see nothing unusual. Drive back to ofc see again notic front and rear bumper is diff tone. SE said it due to paint work on plastic bumper. WTF? He said all white elantra same problem? Else let him know.

My ride is White..... I dun have any change in colour on both my front & back bumper

I suspect it could be a batch problem fr kmc. Can u send me a pic of yr bumper?

This is totally not acceptable to me. Trying to find out who else got the same problem before I go kmc this weekend

Front and rear bumper is using Frp lo. Therefore there is slight difference in the long run. New car shouldn't have this color issue. If all white have this issue should go back and feedback lo.

I only know the door handle color is slight different.

That guy from Kre**** at autobay kaki said on plastic is like that. Thats why I very scare the spoiler will have problem..

banana, u mean yr bumper color tone already different from the day u collected yr ride? did u check with kmc? i find it hard to accept for a new car to come with different tone personally..

SE also said the same thingy abt plastic bumper hence different tone. but i look at other cars (different make) in the carpark there's not so much different.

SE also mentioned if i see other white elantra without this problem let him know so he can bring it up. sicne the earlier batch white elantra dont seem to have this problem, i reckon it is more of a spray paint QC issue.

Could be ceramic white. Too white, hence easier to spot. You can't see the different tone until someone pointed it out to you. So i guess is not that bad?

I can live with it tho. coz my car is always yellow (from dirt LOL). Wait they respray kana other part of the car. or take out bumper etc. more issue.

But if u look closer to the door handle, u will see different tone. Is the bumper color same as the handle?

ya. same issue with the handle. > Handle + both bumpers. slight yellow.

bananah, u r right perhaps as i missed it when inspecting the car before taking over. well i was focusing on scratches and dents and didnt notice the diff tone on bumper.

sky_devils, i go check the handle later see if they are also diff tone. soon bian take a pic to upload here. see any other bros whom collected their ceramic white have the same problem.

if the handle is yellow, mean the paint job is not good, the bumper will be different due to material different. you should go back to KMC to ask them.
