Matt finishes on Elantra

Hello, just to check with you guys.. Sometimes, i saw some cars with matt finishes, mostly black.
This matt finishes are really paint work or something to paste on?
Is it allow here, e.g car inspection (original is white car then change to white Matt finishes) ?
Does it trap heat? Thanks

Usually its sticker cause more cost effective. Matt balck does not pass inspection.

Noob question. When u say matt black fail inspection, does it mean the whole car matt black will fail or is it even those just a decal at a small area of the car matt black will fail too?

I think should be whole car matt black will fail for inspection.. Areas like bonnet, roof, boot should be able to pass inspection as my previous ride have respray as above mention... On the road, when came across TP or LTA enforcement, seem nothing wrong... But too much fierce decal will kanna mark by TP or LTA enforcement..
