For elantra bros out there,
If u are looking for add on module for this 2 system without changing your current stock security alarm system, u may consider this 2 diff type of system.. Don need to change the whole stock alarm system, just tap in thru our alarm system and works prefectly...

Actually I must admit that my lousy SE has not thoroughly explain how our current Elantra's security system works. Since our locking system has no sound and our smart key allows doors can be opened within a distance range. I have never seen or hear before how our Elantra alarm sounds....


Or is is really there in the 1st place???

Nope... Our Elantra by stock didn't have automatic lock & unlock doors feature.. And there is no security sound too... Our smart key feature is for our doors handle when we are going to open our doors there a button to press then the security system will unlock/lock... It's also for our push start button and boot release only... That's all... My SE explain to me when I'm getting my ride... In the first, I thought it will automatically door lock/unlock within a distance range but it's not... So I try to find aftermarket module on eBay for this feature but price not really cheap too..

Seems like not cheap lor.

Issit???!!!! I tot the auto lock/unlock is available if we forgot to lock and walk away for a distance and it will activate??!!! I have not experiment this yet on my car. Just my assumption.

That means our car doesn't have any safety/anti-theft features at all??!!

Got... Manually press the door handle button to lock/unlock (Is their so call keyless entry) or press your smart key lock/unlock button. For anti-theft feature, the alarm will sound off if there someone force or break into our ride... Just that our ride don have automatic door lock/unlock system and alarm sound (means when we lock our ride, there will be a 1 time sound to let u know our ride have been lock. When we unlock our ride, there will be 2 times sound to let u know our ride have been unlock).

This 2 diff module is for the security sound module and auto door lock/unlock when we have a distance away from our ride...

Ya lor.. Total add up + shipping + workshop installation in SGD should around or below $150.. Just remember to lock manually, that will be saving $$...

But for a new advance security alarm system, should cost $150 or $200 & above...

Hyundai Singapore always been so cheapskate to consumers like us even vehicle and COE price increase... Don know y?

Merc has ths feature. other make i not too sure.

i quite happily with the configuration.

if everything added like merc. will we pay 130k for a elantra?

JUS found out.....korea AVANTE MD is only 28K after conversion......my korean boss is laughing at me for buying such EXPENSIVE car and can drive only 10 years!!! very sad!!!!

JUS found out.....korea AVANTE MD is only 28K after conversion......my korean boss is laughing at me for buying such EXPENSIVE car and can drive only 10 years!!! very sad!!!!

korea big singapore small so no space lor.. but in Seoul, jams at both side of the Han River also very congested during the day.

Bro....not only dont hv COE....their car no deadline like malaysia.....can drive till he die....car still survive.....only trouble is every year after the 10th year....need to go inspection!!
