Does your Elantra come with any security alarm system? Theres a sticker on my vehicle saying protected by 'Hyundai Security System' or something but I dont hear any alarm or see the alarm lights?

Also, installing alarm requires rewiring to a certain extent....will the installation void the warranty?

Any available shops in Singapore does alarm without any impact to the warranty?

I think you have to check with komoco. the security alarm? the alarm I heard on this car can barely scare me. unlike the getz, I use key to unlock instead of the remove the bloody alarm sounded so loud that I almost got a heart attack.

whahahaahaha....thks for the reponse identiti.

So far ive not heard my alarm yet. I'm not too sure how to trigger it too. There's no key hole on my door. It's opened and locked via the remote.

So did you install any alarm system?

no I didn't install any alarm system.
I'm not sure if the volume of the alarm is the same as the security alarm. try keeping the keys in your pocket, get out of your car with engine on and close the door, you will hear a soft but audible long beep.

The smart key transponder comes with a key, there is a metallic button to depress, then you pull out the metallic bar in the transponder, and a key will come out.

There is no alarm reset button in this car. The alarm will sound for only 25 seconds before stopping. The key to this is dun ever lose your car key.

eh guys, I think we made a mistake here. there is actually another alarm, which I think is for security feature. it sounds like the horn, not the usual soft beep you hear.
