Finevu CR300-HD
Hi, I had ordered this product yet to collect it. Just wondering those who had installed this product. What's the standard default installation way? I mean the wiring part, tap to car battery or start/stop ignition or some other methods?
Just want to gather more ideas before I collect my camera
Thanks!

If you want it to operate in parking mode when you off the car, you need to connect it to the battery, other the 12v power point is ok.
I got connected directly to the battery so it runs 24hrs.

So no worries to drain the car battery right? Does that mean we will change our car battery faster?
We need to tell the workshop how we want it to be connected or they automatically know what to do?

Good thing about CR300 is it cut off the power if it detect low voltage ( 11.5v if I remember correctly) from the supply, saving the battery from flats.
Like Bro bayside, I also got mine online and installed at the designated installer, you just need to decide if you want it run 24 hours or only when you drive.
Cheers!

I added a switch to the +ve of the supply, because you need to power off the unit before you remove the SD card.
