I just install this car recorder today and test the result, it was amazingly clear not matter what kind of weather , noon or night.
I never thought about install this recorder till after my rear bumper crack and severe scratched by unknown driver's vehicle on this Monday....... A bad experience for me.

Re: BlackVue DR400G-HD
If I can get total of 10 orders, I can help get the price of $399 include power magic and installations and warranty by manufacturer 1 year.
Local car workshop sell around 500plus so as to warranty u and instant exchange. For this part I understand and is also fair to them as they need to take risk and pay shipping to sent back to Korea for warranty.
For those can Really wait maybe just input the names below and PM me ur name/nick/contact & email, dateline by 17Feb 2012. I will revert u the details after I receive the PM. Good for those still waiting for ride might as well do this booking.

I think they will ask u disable and take out when u drive in camp area. Well the installation of blackvue allow u to disable the unit easily. There is a clip for u to take out the device without taking out the stand. I don't think they can put ur car in their locker.

For those who have DR400, hope you get the below update,
1. Go to http://Eng.pittasoft.com , download sd formatter v3.1, install it & format your card with option: full overwrite, size adjustment ON
2. Download latest firmware v1.037, install it and follow the on screen instructions, edit the settings with the installed software.
3. Insert the sd card into the dr400 & power it up, let it initialize the set for first time usage

Re: BlackVue DR400G-HD
I'm keen on installing this too. Is there any cutting of the car's electrical wires involved?
Or is it just plug n play?
Very scared to void the warranty..

It is not that difficult to install. I managed to install mine on my own.
Power magic is recommended as it help to cut off the power to the blackvue camera when it detects that your car battery drops to a low level (esp true when u parked ur car for >3 days). This will prevent problem in starting car when batt too low.
For those who like DIY...
Basically, power magic gets the power from your car battery by connecting through the fuses in car fuse box. One cable to car metal body for grounding, one to the cigarette jack fuse (power on when car starts), one to your cabin light fuse (always power on for park mode). You can easily find these fuses location in your manual or the fuse cover. Finally, the remaining cables from power magic goes to the blackvue camera itself.
U can refer to these links to go through the manual and have a better feel of what's needed to be done to install blackvue and power magic..

Thanks for the DIY tips! But I've decided to go car beauty for the installation.
BTW your car colour and rims looks very similar to the new Hyundai iOniq
