Tyres and Rims for your Elantra

i do not know when i am going down. Wait till my new ride arrived then decide

Hi bros. I got my ride last week after waiting for the 3rd COE bidding b'cos COE suddenly jumped up after i bought my Elantra.
Luckily i refused to top up and waited patiently. Anyway, I've changed my rims to 17" and want to recommand the tyre shop I went to for their excellent service and competitive price.

17" replica rims ard $700. tyres depends. if u choose good jap tyres, it'll cost ard $180 each. there r cheaper ones that cost less ard $140.

Well that consider a good price too. I got mine top up at 700 too for 17" rims and GT tyre but I find is not so grip and so I trade in at my 5k milelage and change to BridgeStone RE002.
Tyre is the most important to driving as they are the only things that touches the ground.
At the very least when you happen to need to avoid some junk on the road, you can do it with ease.

Not sure the model leh. They said if I want Yokohama it's ard $180. But I chose Dunlop dz101 @$170 each.

Yarlor, so busy at work and cannot post. When free that time wanted to post, its oredi 2-3am liao. Then this whole month sch holiday have to bring children out to eat & playground. Have little sleep during this period.

Agree, i drift when first time i drive my car back to Malaysia. Ken Block also siam one corner already if he see i drifting so easy and relax like breathing

Yokohama s4 and sport tyre is better for wet and dry. Sdrive also not bad.
I still prefer Bridgestone RE002

hi bros, just to check...what is the typical weight of the stock rims that comes with Elite? 12?

8 or 9kg for 16inch. if i not wrong.

So if going for 16" rims, there isn't much savings in weight?

For replica is abt 6 to 7kg

For what i know stock rims will be heavier.

Thinking of changing rims but I wanname stick on to 16''... besides looks, wanna make sure I get lighter ones than stock..

Yup, our Elantra stk 16" rims are heavier than my 17" rims which I changed.
